We collect your data from the moment you enter or leave your details on our website, when you are approached by our employees or when you contact us in another way.
We record the contact details of (contact persons) of customers, local residents, business relations, contracting parties and suppliers in our CRM system in order to safeguard the contact details. This data is stored on the basis of the following principles:

Generally, we gather and process your data through our website or our proprietary platform to deliver our services. This process is carried out through agreements we establish with you, specifically within the framework of our business activities focused on developing projects that actively contribute to the energy transition, both independently and in collaboration with other partners. Green Trust processes the personal data of (contact persons) of customers, business relations, contracting parties, those involved who work for companies with which we do business and those involved in projects we are working on:
7 What personal data do we collect from you?
We process the personal data that are necessary for our services; part of this information is required to be able to use our services. Additional information may be desirable in order to better tailor the service to your wishes and qualities or to meet more specific questions or obligations from clients. You are responsible for the correctness and relevance of the data you provide.
More specifically, this concerns - among others - the following personal data and/or documents:
Green Trust does not record any special personal data. 'Special personal data' refers to data about race or ethnic origin, religion or belief, political opinion, health, sexuality, trade union membership, genetic data or biometric data.
In addition, Green Trust does not record criminal data, which is data related to criminal convictions and offenses and related security measures.
8 Who can we share your personal data with?
The provision of personal data takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or for the implementation of the agreement in accordance with the goals stated under “Why do we collect your personal data?”.
Your personal data will only be processed within the European Economic Area (EEA).
Green Trust ensures security by means of appropriate technical and organizational measures on the data provided by you, taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs, as well as the nature, scope, context and processing purposes and the varying likelihood and seriousness of risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
Green Trust can pass on the personal data obtained from its business relations if this is necessary to achieve the objectives for the benefit of the business relationship. This data can be passed on to other Green Trust business partners who provide services on behalf of or in collaboration with, and in all other cases where Green Trust may be obliged to do so, for example by a court order or court ruling.
9 Retention periods
The retention periods we use depend on the applicable legal retention periods and the category of the personal data. The personal data of contact persons of (business) relations are stored for the benefit of our services. We keep this data for as long as necessary for the implementation of our projects.

Green Trust makes every effort to optimally protect your personal data against unlawful processing. Green Trust ensures security by means of appropriate technical and organizational measures on the data provided by you, taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs, as well as the nature, scope, context and processing purposes and the varying likelihood and seriousness of risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
If Green Trust as data controller uses data processors, Green Trust will draw up a data processing agreement with this party prior to the data processing. At least the same or stricter security measures will apply here as if this data would be processed within Green Trust.
