On March 2nd an important next step was taken in the realization of Wind farm Ospeldijk. Next to the cooperation agreement, Cooperative Zuidenwind and Limburg Water Board (WML) also signed the purchase agreement to buy four wind turbines.
Quite wind turbine
In collaboration with Wind farms Heibloem, Egchelse Heide and De Kookepan, Green Trust explored the market thoroughly. For Wind farm Ospeldijk the choice is made to go for four wind turbines type Nordex 149. This wind turbine is the most quiet in its class combined with an excellent production capacity. Green Trust is responsible for the contracting of these four wind turbines, as well as those for the nearby Wind farms Heibloem, Egchelse Heide and De Kookepan.
Wind farm Ospeldijk is an initiative of Zuidenwind and WML. In the fall of 2020 construction will start. And from the beginning of 2021 the four wind turbines will deliver 45 million kWh sustainable energy per year; enough electricity for 15.000 households.
